Sarah Goodman, a native of Chesterfield, Virginia, is a valued member of our team at Speight Marshall Francis. As an Administrative Assistant in our Richmond, VA office, she plays a crucial role in facilitating project progress and ensuring smooth communication with our clients. With a background in psychology and a passion for continuous learning, Sarah's journey to her current position showcases her drive and commitment to personal growth.

After graduating from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in 2014, Sarah found her calling in working with children. From daycares to nannying, she excelled in this field, utilizing her creativity and making a positive impact on the lives of the children she cared for. However, Sarah's desire for continuous improvement pushed her to seek new challenges and expand her skillset.

Through a friend of a friend, Sarah discovered that Speight Marshall Francis was in search of an administrative assistant for the Richmond, VA office. Intrigued by the opportunity to work in a dynamic and contemporary environment, she decided to apply. In January, Sarah joined our team, quickly adapting to the fast-paced nature of her role.

In her day-to-day responsibilities, Sarah collaborates closely with the administrative team to communicate with clients and send essential documents, such as fee proposals, which are crucial to the progress of our projects. Additionally, Sarah efficiently manages office supplies and takes on various duties, including planning our beloved First Friday lunches, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our team. Sarah's versatility allows her to seamlessly jump in and provide support wherever it is needed, showcasing her eagerness to contribute to the success of our projects.

Beyond her professional contributions, Sarah has a vibrant personality and diverse range of interests. She enjoys attending baseball games, particularly as an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, often cheering them on from the stands. When she's not immersed in our projects or cheering for her team, Sarah indulges in her love for reading, particularly romance novels. She highly recommends "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which captivated her with its compelling storytelling. Sarah also has an affinity for country music and is frequently found at various country music shows during the summer. Whether it's the timeless tunes of Garth Brooks or the catchy melodies of Taylor Swift, Sarah's enthusiasm for country music is undeniable.
