Three additions to the existing campus, each located at different ends of the campus, provided needed upgrades to accommodate the increasing high school student population in Patrick County, Virginia. To the North, a new main three-story main entrance was created adjoining the existing two-story structure. The existing structure had to be completed and underpinned while the new addition was being built. To the east of the campus, a new 13,000 square foot Culinary Arts Building, was constructed that connected the gym/sports facility with the classrooms of the existing building. To the south of the campus, a new audio-visual addition was created to service the existing auditorium. In total, over 38,000 SF was added to the existing facility all during normal school operations.
