Pepsi Las Vegas
The $100 million Pepsi Las Vegas, Nevada distribution warehouse and bottling production facility opened for business in 2008.
Speight Marshall Francis served as the Structural Engineer of Record for Pepsi's new high-bay distribution/warehouse and production facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Work included connected 40,000 sf office space, a check-in canopy, a high-bay fleet maintenance facility with an enclosed area of 372,800 square feet, and a canopy area of 49,600 square feet yielding a total covered area of 422,400. Also designed process equipment foundation pads, 3 mezzanines, offloading canopy, a 15’ by 50‘ refrigeration building with roof-mounted equipment, and a raw materials loading dock. Due to the seismic requirements and the height of the building, the Clark County Building Department required us to have a third-party structural review completed on our design.
