Speight Marshall Francis served as Structural Engineer of Record and Agent 1 Special Inspector for this two-story, 15,000 sf wood-framed, 56-bed men dormitory located at 717 Orchard Road on Hampton University campus. This residence hall is situated in a quadrangle with James Hall Suites, Harkness Hall, and the Bemis Laboratories for Architecture. Completed in 2019 by Armada Hoffler Construction Company, Orchard Road Residence Hall provides comfortable living for over 100 incoming honors freshmen. The rooms are all double occupancy residence halls with private bathrooms in each room.
