A design/build project with S.B. Ballard Construction Company, Richard Bowling Elementary School was financed through the PPEA program.

New two-story PK-5 110,923 sf elementary school located at 2700 E. Princess Anne Road; site of the former Robert’s Park Apartments that were demolished and connected by a covered awning to Jordan Newby Library at Broad Creek. The school’s curriculum is geared to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years program. The capacity is 700 students. This school served as the prototype drawings for two other schools-Ocean View Elementary and Larchmont Elementary also designed by Speight Marshall Francis. This school incorporates the STEM option. Also provided Agent 1 Special Inspections services. PPEA project. Targeted for LEED certification.
