Scott's View Apartments
Scott’s View Apartments, a dynamic mixed-use development, has transformed a former industrial site into a bustling hub of residential and commercial activity in Richmond's expanding Scott’s Addition neighborhood. This project is a standout example of urban revitalization, offering a blend of luxury living and convenient shopping options.
The project, engineered by Speight Marshall Francis, features a 322-unit luxury apartment complex divided between two towers, one seven stories and the other eight. These residential towers are constructed atop a podium, which provides a substantial 18,000 square feet of commercial space, contributing to the area's economic vibrancy.
A key aspect of this development is its comprehensive range of amenities, designed to enhance the living experience of its residents. This includes an impressive 5,200 square feet dedicated to fitness facilities, common areas, and a pavilion space, catering to the needs and lifestyles of the modern urban dweller.
Complementing the residential structures, the project includes a significant parking solution: a three-story, 384-car precast parking garage adjacent to the apartment building. Speight Marshall Francis played a crucial role in designing both the foundation for this precast garage and the access ramp, which reaches an elevation of 4 feet. Additionally, the project scope encompassed the construction of two elevated connector bridges, linking the podium to the parking garage, thereby ensuring seamless access for residents and visitors.
Scott’s View Apartments stand as a modern and functional addition to the Scott’s Addition area, aligning harmoniously with the neighborhood's trend towards stylish, mixed-use properties. This development not only meets the growing demand for urban living solutions but also contributes to the area's reputation as a fashionable and thriving community.
