Located in the Air Commerce Park at the esteemed Newport News Williamsburg International Airport, this project showcases our commitment to delivering practical engineering solutions that cater to the needs of Fortune 500 companies such as Smithfield Foods, Inc.

Smithfield Foods, Inc., the world's largest producer of pork products, operates with a global presence, spanning across the United States, Mexico, and various European countries. As a trusted partner, we were honored to undertake the design and construction of their corporate hangar, further solidifying their infrastructure for success.

The architectural design of the Smithfield Foods Corporate Hangar centers around a foundation and slab-on-grade approach, ensuring both stability and efficiency for this 40-foot-tall, single-story, 18,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building aircraft hangar. This state-of-the-art facility offers a generous 15,600 square feet of space solely dedicated to accommodating the growing fleet of Smithfield Foods' aircraft.

Adjacent to the hangar, a separate 2,860 square foot, one-story component gracefully faces Providence Boulevard, serving as a multifunctional space that showcases our innovative approach. This component houses conference facilities, offices, and shop areas, all thoughtfully designed to ensure seamless operations for Smithfield Foods. Additionally, this space serves as a comfortable waiting area for company officials and their esteemed guests, embodying a warm and inviting atmosphere.

To realize the design vision, we collaborated with Bass Steel Buildings, renowned for their expertise in pre-manufactured metal building design. Together, we ensured the highest standards of quality and efficiency, further promoting the overall success of the project.
