USAA Parking Garage

As a growing company, USAA provided their employees a massive new parking structure with a covered walkway to protect pedestrians from the weather.  

USAA Insurance Company was in need of a new parking structure, this five-story parking garage added 850 vehicle spots to their campus. Speight Marshall Francis was the Structural Engineer of Record & Agent 1 Special Inspector for the project that involved a design/build of the foundation for a four-story, 180’ x 330’ precast parking garage. It is supported by a deep foundation with a slab-on-grade. The design included a covered walkway composed of structural steel and storefront panels.
